M.A.L.S Merseyside was formed in June 2010, by local community members who simply wanted to make a difference to the lives of young people, by teaching them they have other choices in life.
The M.A.L.S Merseyside team is unique, we have experienced the devastating effects of crime. This allows us to connect to both victims and young people and deliver services that are relevant and meaningful to individual and group needs.
M.A.L.S works in conjunction with partner organisations such as:
- Merseyside Police
- Youth Service’s
- The Youth Offending service
- Red Bank Secure Unit
Our manager, Clare Donohue, has over 15 years of experience of working with young people with social and behavioural needs as a highly qualified youth worker, mentor, trainer and education manager, working with many organisations including Connexions, A20 and the View, helping to support young people in the NEET category.
